T.C.'s next projects...
Starlight
A character who lives in the shadow of the powerful, struggles with
inner turmoil and haunting memories and helps ensure the safety of her people.
Second generation daught of gods, Kira (nicknamed Starlight) works
as a spy for the underground Inaut information line to ensure the Madai keep to their peace treaty promises. When she finds
proof of a planned attack on her home city, she becomes the hunted and stumbles onto a Scholar of the Monarch. Oblivious to
her true identity, she finds him needing her help. When the tables turn and he helps her, she discovers the enemy scholar
isn't only what he seems to be.

I've reached "the end!"
Title: Daughter of Gods
Tryn can’t remember a time when her people
lived in total peace, unafraid of the Madai, those who strip the lands of natural resources and enslave her people. What
she does remember is a life of freedom and the family she lost while trying to save the outlying city of her people, Tarjei.
Eight years pass before she tastes freedom again
in the strangest of ways. Sold from the mines and bought by a Madai Royal named Cedrik of Shire West, she is handed the reigns
of a magnificent stallion, supplies for a journey across the lands to her home, bid farewell and left on her own. Alone,
she doesn’t fair so well. The toll of so many mining years on her lungs and the wild animals in the forest are too much
for a young Inaut never on her own before. Then she meets a man from her people’s legends and is given a whole new start
and purpose with her life.
That life appears perfect and at ease until she
stumbles upon a Madai guard, a guard she recognizes too well as her tormenter in the mines of her enslaving. And she discovers
he is searching for Sir Cedrik, a man who captured her curiosity in his strange act of humanity toward her.
Curiosity carries her forward until she faces
Sir Cedrik again. He acts nothing like any of the Madai Royals she ever met before. He seems to hate his station, seems
to dislike his own kind. She accompanies him back to his estate where she finds his secrets and begins to understand. She
sinks deeply into the trap of circumstances encasing Cedrik. And she finds she alone might be able to free him and those he
protects from certain doom and torture, a fate she can’t leave him to face.

A work in progress.
Still in "first draft" phase...
Among the Ancients
Bryce Kendlar isn’t thrilled when he’s pressured to take a cruise
from Miami to Bimini on a friend’s yacht but he figures his worst dilemma will be spending hours in such close proximity
with his ex-girlfriend. The ocean getaway quickly becomes something other than relaxing. All the ship’s mechanisms fly
erratically into chaos, the boat moves backward against its captain’s orders, then the night sky Bryce finds above him
is no longer the one he knows and a twisted forest full of strange noises surrounds them. Two horrific moments later and he
knows nothing will ever be the same.
His brother Ryder and newlywed wife, Kara are attacked, her mother murdered
on deck along with several others. Bryce is shoved overboard and finds himself face to face with a different threat on shore.
But he does not see a face, only golden eyes and a long glowing blade poised to end his life, though after a slight struggle
and some strange words, the being leaves him alone in the darkness, beaten, wounded.
Only Evan Sterling is left alive on board, saved by an illness induced slumber
below deck. Bryce is cursed to suffer the young man’s complaints and idiosyncrasies as he struggles to discover just
where they’ve arrived and how to find Ryder. To find him, he must ask help from Kynlythiajiera (Kin-lin-thia-gheera),
a creature not thought of highly by the strange humans Bryce finds in the nearest town, although when he finally meets her,
he finds she is not all that strange to him despite her heritage.
